Two Rape Cases in Murfreesboro in the past Two Days

Two rape cases were reported to Murfreesboro Police in the past two days. One of the cases allegedly took place in the A building of Spring Valley Apartments around 9:30, Saturday night. Detectives are now investigating the report that was filed by a 33-year old woman.

The second case was reported early Sunday morning at the Knights Inn on South Church Street. After the rape was allegedly committed, Murfreesboro Police located a suspect vehicle possibly tied to the crime and made a felony traffic stop on Broad Street. The subjects in the car were questioned and an investigation is ongoing. The 19-year old victim was transported to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

No arrests have been made in the two rape cases as of Monday, but both cases are still open and active.
