VERBATIM:

Benford is the man who was arrested this past August on disorderly conduct charges after he caused quite the stir when his car went up in flames on Battleground Drive in Murfreesboro.

Police say Benford was not arrested for starting the fire, he was arrested for allegedly creating a hostile scene with several of his friends and family members who kept arriving on the scene. Benford reportedly said to an officer, "Maybe your car will burn next."

The details of the most recent charges dealing with the robbery have yet to be released, but will soon be made public in Circuit Court. Benford is currently being held under a $100,000 bond.

Arrested with Benford was 21-year old Devone Patterson. Patterson was said to be a passenger with Benford and had warrants of his own for robbery, and a felony amount of drugs in his possession at the time of his arrest. According to the arrest report, Patterson possessed a bag of Xanax that contained about 70-pills, but no prescription. This is Robert Rickman, WGNS news.

Details of the case surrounding Patterson will also be released once it hits the Circuit Courtroom. Patterson is also being held under a $100,000 bond.
