Two Suspects Attack Senior Citizen for Blood Pressure Medication and Pain Pills

A 63-year old Murfreesboro man who let two acquaintances stay at his apartment for the past four days was allegedly attacked after asking them to move out. A report filed from the scene of the attack documents that one of the two suspects demanded the 63-year old give them his medication. During the demand, the suspect allegedly punched the elderly man repeatedly while the second of the two suspects retrieved the med's.

After the attack and after the two had their hands on the blood pressure medication and a bottle of pain pills, the two left. So far, they have not been caught.

The victim was treated by paramedics and the case is being investigated.

WGNS is not releasing the name or address of the local apartment complex where the incident occurred to protect the identity of the victim.
