Two 18-year olds were charged with aggravated robbery on Thursday morning. Charles D. Robertson and Shamari R. Cooper were accused of robbing two men who were walking to their apartment during the early morning hours after a trip to a gas station on Rutherford Boulevard.

Robertson and Cooper allegedly hid in the tree line next to the Shell gas station and reportedly jumped out and robbed the two victims as they were walking by. MTSU Police spotted the two suspects and quickly moved in to make an arrest. Officers confiscated a handgun and recoverd a black mask from behind the Shell stataion. The two teens will appear in court on November 15.
