Someone went to a lot of trouble to steal tires… The Consolidated Utility District in Murfreesboro reported a tire theft several days ago. Evidently someone cut a hole in their fence on Commercial Court and stole six wheels and tires.

This is not the first theft of tires and wheels reported this month in Rutherford County. Someone stole the wheels off a 2013 Chevy Camaro on the 19th of January. That theft occurred on National Drive near Indian Hills Golf Course and S. Church St. According to a police report, the owner came outside to find his car on concrete blocks and the wheels missing. The gun metal colored Camaro rims and tires were valued at over $2,000.
