Here is a theft you don’t expect to hear about… A U-Haul truck was stolen from… you guessed it, U-Haul. The Memorial Boulevard office called the police department after a man failed to return the truck that he had rented. Police checked the driveway of where the renter lives on Lakeshore Drive, but no truck was found.

The next step called for a warrant to be obtained and an incident report shows that a warrant was obtained for Dustin Gilley, who rented the truck on February 14 – a little over one month ago. Police also entered the truck into the National Crime and Information Center database, in case a U-Haul truck shows up in another state or even another country.

The 2014 Ford F-150 pick-up truck was valued at over $10,000.
