On Wednesday (4/4/18), WGNS received multiple calls about an incident involving federal authorities' searching a home in the 500 block of Forrest Pointe Drive in Murfreesboro. The home is in a neighborhood behind Bellwood Baptist Church off of Middle Tennessee Boulevard.

Murfreesboro Police confirmed that they were assisting the United States Secret Service at the address on Wednesday, but would not say why.

While the Secret Service won't speak of their visit to the home, we can say that area residents say they witnessed multiple agents at the house, numerous unmarked vehicles and a man who appeared to be in handcuffs.

Again, details of the case are not being released at this time.
