The United States Army Field Band will be holding band clinics for students at Middle Tennessee State University 11:30 AM and 6 PM Thursday, Oct 30.

Members of the band are available for interviews leading up to and following their clinic. The clinics, which the Army Field Band is holding in various states through November, offer a wonderful chance for the soldiers to engage the students through music. During an interview, the soldiers can talk about being "Musical Ambassadors of the Army" and performing for schools and communities. They can also talk about the band clinics they are holding and how they give schools and band directors a chance to interact and learn from world-class musicians. This is an excellent opportunity to let the community know about the prestigious band that is coming to work with local students.

The soldier musicians holding the clinics are members of the Army Field Band's Concert Band, which is the oldest and largest of the Field Band's four performing components. This elite 65-member instrumental ensemble, founded in 1946, has performed in all 50 states and 25 foreign countries for audiences totaling more than 100 million.
