United Way "Days of Action"

Jane Sharp with Greenhouse Ministries talks to Deputy County Mayor Jeff Davidson about what the non-profit offers our community.

The United Way's 2014 Days of Action has had a big impact on projects that benefit United Way partner programs. Over 800 volunteers have completed projects all over Rutherford and Cannon Counties since Thursday. Volunteers have participated in activities such as cleaning, yard work and painting to help nonprofits complete projects that need to be done. United Way CEO Megan Flippin says the volunteering opportunities don't stop there. She suggests logging on to unitedwayvolunteer.org...

Again, that's unitedwayvolunteer.org. To see photos from United Way’s Days of Action, in partnership with MTSU’s The Big Event, log-on to WGNSRadio.com, keyword "action."
