For the second time in the past two days, an unknown man has purchased cell phones being sold on CraigsList with fake cash. In both cases, the subject found the cell phones on CraigsList and arraigned to meet the sellers at one of the multiple Walmarts in Murfreesboro.

During the meetings, the man would purchase the phones with counterfeit bills. In one of the two cases, the victim told officers the man had a huge stack of cash, which was likely fake. From that stack, the man would pull several twenties off the top to make the payment.

In both of the two situations, the man fled the scene in a white Ford Crown Vic. In one case, the victim told police there was a Ford sticker on the back window.

At this point, an arrest has not been made.
