An investigation that got underway this past June has landed a 66-year old man from Vonore, Tennessee in the local jail. Ronald C. Hicks allegedly took one of his clients to Murfreesboro to see a concert. Hicks serves in a capacity to represent a 14-year old singer.

The child was allowed by her parents to make a day trip to Rutherford County with Hicks to see a band. While in Murfreesboro, Hicks is accused of giving the teenager a margarita and then forcing himself on the child while in his car. The incident allegedly occurred in the parking lot of the Double Tree Hotel.

A December indictment shows that Hicks was charged with rape, 2-counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and sexual exploitation of a minor. Hicks will appear in circuit court on December 17.
