The man who caused Riverdale High School to be placed on lock down this past August will file a plea in court next month.
Rutherford County Work Center escapee Anthony Lynn Thomas left the detention center and went on the run, according to police. As a precaution, the schools decided to place Riverdale on lock down due to the direction of travel by the inmate.
Thomas was caught minutes later and charged with felony escape from a custody officer. The lock down at Riverdale was then lifted.
Thomas will be in Circuit Court to file his plea on December 16, 2015.
