Christiana Magaddino and Ryan Roe were arrested in connection with the homicide investigation.
There has been an arrest in the murder of a 39-year old man, whose body was found Saturday afternoon at the West Fork boat ramp on Stones River. A mother and son, 36-year old Christiana Magaddino and 20-year old Ryan Roe, both of Smyrna, face multiple charges. Roe faces first degree murder and tampering with evidence charges. Magaddino is charged with accessory to murder after the fact, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.
The body was discovered at the West Fork boat ramp, which is in Smyrna near Nissan, between 1:30 and 2 Saturday afternoon. Investigators don't know how long the body had been there before being discovered.
Magaddino and Roe both resided in the Ashley Grove Apartments, which is near Wal-Mart in Smyrna. The name of the victim has not been released yet, as authorities are notifying the next of kin.
