UPDATE: The former Blackman High School teacher who plead guilty in 2009 to four charges that included solicitation of a minor by electronic means, solicitation of a minor to commit aggravated statutory rape and two counts of official misconduct has been rearrested. WGNS confirmed on Tuesday (9/6/16) that Jason Lancaster was re-arrested for a probation violation that included the single charge of stalking.
Under the original guilty plea he was not allowed to teach children in K through 12th grades and in fact, lost his license from the state for a five year period.
The agreement allowed for the record of his arrest to be expunged by the local courts as if it never happened if he properly followed the probation period.
According to reports, Lancaster was re-arrested on August 18th on the stalking charge which he is scheduled to face in court on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
