A Murfreesboro man will face two drug possession charges, 2 felony drug possession charges, a driving on a revoked license charge, his 4th DUI charge, along with possession of drug paraphernalia charges and failure to obey a traffic control device charges in court next week.

Arthur Burt, who was arraigned on Monday, will appear in court next Friday, August 1st, which has been labeled as a “Discussion Date.” During the court appearance, Burt and attorney Ben Parsley will learn what evidence he will face during an upcoming plea that has been set for August 20th.

You may recall that Burt was most recently stopped in Murfreesboro this month because a Murfreesboro officer recognized him as someone who did not have a valid driver’s license. During the traffic stop, police found numerous prescription pills and a ledger that looked to outline the illegal sale of prescription drugs.
