A 34 year old man by the name of Billy Brinkley has been arrested in Murfreesboro. The suspect is accused of sexually exploiting a child. Brinkley is also being charged with aggravated sexual battery.

UPDATE: A video found on Brinkley's cellphone in Murfreesboro allegedly showed him molesting a four year old girl. The video is believed to have been shot in Murfreesboro, according to a police report.

The charges were handed down by the Rutherford County Grand Jury after an investigation by Murfreesboro Police. The end result landed Brinkley in a jail cell on Friday of this past week. The suspect was later transferred to Warren County, TN where he faces additional charges.

UPDATE: Authorities in Warren County believe that Brinkley may have shot several videos of children engaged in sexual activities on his cellphone.

Brinkley was arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor last month after co-workers discovered the images and videos on his cell phone in Warren County. Authorities say Brinkley faces up to 6-years in prison for having over 50-illegal images on the phone.

The images were discovered by a co-worker of Brinkley's after he misplaced his phone at work. That employee reported the incident to authorities and Brinkley allegedly admitted to knowing about the images.

This is the second time that Brinkley has been in trouble with the law for sexual related crimes. In 2010, he was charged with aggravated statutory rape. At the time, Brinkley was 28 years of age.

Brinkley, who lives in Murfreesboro, will formerly hear the charges against him when he appears in a Rutherford County Courtroom on September 2, 2016.
