UPDATE: Nashville Police release missing person report in Middle Tennessee - Woman later found deceased

Nashville Detectives were asking for the public's assistance in locating Ashley Brown, 27, who was last seen Saturday at 4:30 a.m. when she left a friend's apartment in the 200 block of 25th Avenue North (Davidson County). However, she has since been found dead.

Brown, who was reportedly intoxicated, left behind her purse and vehicle. A friend reported her missing Saturday night. The landlord made entry into Brown's Pegram, Tennessee, residence Saturday but it did not appear that she had been home.

The body of Brown was later found this Wednesday morning at 1160 Freightliner Drive at a trash disposal site. Confirmation of her body was reported by Nashville Police.

A worker discovered Brown's body Wednesday at 4:15 a.m. An autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death. Detectives are recreating the route of the trash truck that brought her to the refuse facility.
