UPDATE: Occupy Murfreesboro

Have you wondered what happened to the Occupy Murfreesboro protestors since the Occupy Murfreesboro protest on the civic plaza ended in December. You may recall them as the group that camped out in front of the city hall, but claimed they were protesting and not camping.

Each night the protestors camped out in front of the city hall, they received a citation for violating city ordinances. A hearing for the violation that questioned their camping out on the civic plaza was scheduled for Tuesday, but instead rescheduled for March 8th, so that the city could have more time to review a motion to dismiss the case. The motion to dismiss the case was filed by attorney’s representing the occupiers.
