A high speed chase that began in Rutherford County ended in Coffee County this past Friday. Lance Donald Conner, 29, of Round Rock, Texas was driving on I-24 eastbound and decided to pass another vehicle allegedly sideswiping a car driven by Kamillah Patterson, 36, of Murfreesboro and did not stop.

Conner made his way off the interstate at mile marker 105. An emergency call had been made and that’s when THP and Coffee County deputies fell in pursuit of him as Conner turned onto Noah Road. As he was attempting to negotiate a curve, he lost control and the vehicle left the roadway. According to the THP, the vehicle then rolled over and then landed on its top.

Conner is held in jail under a bond of $26,700. He is scheduled to appear in Coffee County General Sessions Court May 20.
