Remember the pricey jewelry theft WGNS told you about several weeks ago? We now have more information on that case. Murfreesboro Police reports indicate a large quantity of extremely expensive jewelry, coins, flatware and other items were stolen from the victim, Dr. Liz Rhea. The estimated value of the items stolen is in excess of $108,000.00.

Since some of the jewelry is family heirlooms, Dr. Rhea is offering a $10,000.00 reward in addition to the reward offered by Rutherford County Crime Stoppers, Inc. This additional reward is only good for a time period of the next thirty (30) days. Major Clyde Adkison tells WGNS the tipster must call Crime Stoppers to furnish them with the information on the location of the jewelry and the name of the thief. The tipster will remain anonymous.
