UPDATE: Photo ID's - 9,500 issued in TN

The state of Tennessee has issued close to 9,500 photo ID’s to local residents since July 1st. The ID’s were issued to persons who did not have a valid photo identification card. The photo ID’s are needed to vote in the upcoming election, according to a new Tennessee law that was passed in 2011 and was put into place on January 1. The presidential primary in Tennessee will be held on March 6.
