UPDATE: Suspect Turns Himself In After News Story Airs

Note: The below suspect, Cortez Smith, turned himself in on Friday after the below news story aired...

The Smyrna Police Department had been searching for 22-year old Cortez Smith who is wanted on charges of “Especially Aggravated Robbery” and “Aggravated Robbery.” He turned himself in shortly after the word got out to the public.

WGNS' Robert Rickman tells what happened . . .

The victim who was shot was not seriously injured. He was treated and released from Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. 

A second suspect by the name of Jeremy L. Rivers of Smyrna was previously arrested on similar charges.
