UPDATE:

Murfreesboro Police Department requested the assistance of the Tennessee Highway Patrol on an auto theft related case. The case evidently had out of state ties. T.H.P.'s Criminal Investigation Division conducted a search warrant in Rutherford County on Friday evening (8/23/16). During the course of the search warrant the THP recovered 2-stolen medium speed vehicles (Similar to sling shot or Can Am type), 3- stolen trailers; 1-12ft Utility Trailer, 1-20 ft Feather Light Trailer and 1 U-Haul type trailer. The THP confirmed the items were not stolen locally.

In addition to the above mentioned items the THP also seized 22 other vehicles involved in fraudulent activity.

WGNS spoke to THP Sgt. Travis Plotzer who stated, This is an ongoing investigation at this point, so I can not release any information on it."
