As heard this past Wednesday night on WGNS, city planners okayed a public meeting to discuss the site plan for the newly proposed Walmart on Memorial Boulevard in front of the Murfreesboro Airport. Planners also gave the green light on a new Walmart to be located on S. Church St. at County Farm Road. Construction on that Walmart should begin in 2013.

Residents in the area of the proposed Memorial Boulevard Walmart will have an opportunity to voice their opinions on the project December 10th. The public forum will be at the SportsCom on DeJarnette Lane between 6:30 and 8:30.
