UPDATE: Two Shot Sunday in Murfreesboro

The victims in the double shooting at University Gables Apartments have been identified. Murfreesboro Police spokesman Sgt. Kyle Evans tells NewsRadio WGNS Dartavious Brittenum and Travious Miller, both age 19, were shot at the apartments just off South Rutherford Boulevard around 1:30 Sunday morning. Both were taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center with serious injuries. According to reports, the victims were found in the parking lot of the apartment complex. Miller was treated by responding officers for multiple gunshot wounds until paramedics arrived. There were two vehicles that also were damaged by the gunfire. One was a 2000 Ford Explorer and the other a 2002 Toyota Corolla. Both had been shot in the front drivers side wheels. Evans says the department's Central Intelligence Division is seeking information on the shooting.
