UPDATE: Two Women Believed to be Responsible for Pantry Gas Station robbery

We have more news on that robbery we told you about on Monday. Just before 1:00 on Monday afternoon, two women allegedly robbed the Pantry convenience store on Northfield Blvd. at MTCS drive. One of the two women was said to be armed with a gun and the second was driving the get-a-way car. The female who robbed the store handed the clerk a note telling her to "Keep Quiet."

When the two suspects left the store, they hoped into their car sped away. The clerk at the store got into her car and followed the duo, alerting police where the culprits were located second by second. Minutes later, police caught up with the suspects on Compton Road. Officers made an arrest and recovered a .40-caliber handgun in the process. The gun was recently reported missing in Smyrna.
