UPDATE: Wednesday afternoon accident on I-24

An accident on Wednesday afternoon led to the temporary shutdown of a section of I-24 in the LaVergne area. The crash involved a tractor trailer truck and two vehicles. The wreck affected the East Bound Lane.

Reports indicate no one was seriously injured in the mishap.

The Murfreesboro Social Security Office has reduced public office hours 30-minutes each weekday. It is now open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM.
