Urine, a needle and a spoon found in suspects purse

A needle, a spoon and a bottle of urine were found in the purse of a woman who was pulled over for an improper turn.

24 Year old Joanna M. Coleman was stopped on Old Lascassas Pike for the improper turn and Murfreesboro Police ran a license check which showed she had three prior "Driving on Revoked" license charges. She also had a warrant for her arrest for "Violation of Probation."

Coleman gave police permission to search her purse which is when they found a needle and spoon with "drug residue" in her purse, according to an arrest report. As for the urine, she stated it was used to pass a drug screen.

The local woman was charged with:

  • Violation of Probation
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Falsification of a Drug Test
  • Driving on a Revoked License, 4th Offense
