Virtual experiences in art, literature, science and geography are not real. For example, most of us have probably seen images of the Mona Lisa, and many of us have read descriptions that deconstruct almost every aspect of the painting. But all of this information, while interesting and useful, cannot replace the feeling of actually being in front of the painting.
