The public is invited to attend the first of a series of special meetings prior to the City Council meetings to allow for a public comment period. The City Council has scheduled a special meeting for public comment, Thursday, July 10, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. prior to the regularly scheduled meeting at 7:00 p.m.

“Allowing the public to express views of a broad nature to the Council is in keeping with our goal of engaging our community,” said Mayor Shane McFarland.  “We want the citizens of Murfreesboro to know that we want to learn from their ideas and opinions.”
