The three day Memorial Day weekend is a time to salute, remember and thank those who preserve freedom and protect our communities and families. The Murfreesboro Noon Exchange Club's "Healing Field" and the cemetery at the Stones River National Battlefield are two local sites that you need to visit.

(above) John Bowen served in the Navy and was stationed in Cyprus. He and his wife Shirley had their first child there. The Healing Field brought memories of those years and the friends they made while serving our country.
