Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue Departments District 9 and Engine 1 responded to a single car motor vehicle accident on Interstate 24 at Exit 78 just before 7:30 Wednesday morning. The female driver was pinned against the guardrail and had to be extricated. She was transported via ambulance to Saint Thomas Rutherford.
