A man was shot in Murfreesboro this past Wednesday (2/11/15) afternoon and transported to the hospital. The victim told police he was standing outside of a condo on General Westmoreland Court near the Richard Siegel Soccer Park.

As of now, an arrest has not been made in the case.

On the day of the incident, Murfreesboro Detectives spoke to the 33-year old victim at the hospital. The man advised police that he did not know the shooters who were in a black BMW. He stated that one of the two persons inside the car shot him from the passenger side and then fled the scene. The victim further suggested that the shooter was of Asian descent.

The victim did not suffer from a life threatening injury.
