Welcome MTSU Spring Break!!

With winter weather, hopefully, behind them, MTSU students and faculty will be on spring break Monday through Saturday, March 9-14, said Dr. John Omachonu, vice provost for Academic Affairs.

Spring semester classes will resume Monday, March 16.

All offices and departments will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 9-14.

Here are opening and closing times for specific campus buildings and departments during the week of spring break and both weekends:

• Student Union -- Scheduled to be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 7; closed Sunday, March 8; open from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, March 9-13; closed Saturday, March 14; and open from 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday, March 15;

• James E. Walker Library -- Scheduled to be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 7; closed March 8; open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 9-13; closed March 14; and open from 1 p.m. March 15 until 2 a.m. Monday, March 16. • Student Health, Wellness and Recreation Center -- In preparation for Boot Camp Session B starting March 16, the rec center is offering an outdoor Spring Break Boot Camp starting at noon Tuesday and Thursday, March 10 and March 12. Otherwise, the rec center workout facilities will be closed, but the office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, visit http://www.mtsu.edu/camprec/;

• Health Services and Campus Pharmacy, both located in the Student Health, Wellness and Recreation Center, will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 9-13. The pharmacy closes from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for lunch and the drive-thru will be open to 4:30 p.m. daily; and

• Phillips Bookstore -- Located in the Student Union, it is scheduled to be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 7; closed March 8; open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 9-13; and closed March 14-15.
