Gun Buy Back-Drug Take Back

The Murfreesboro Police Department's Gun Buy Back and Drug Take Back has been postponed for one week, in hopes for better weather. This event has been moved to Saturday morning, May 4th--that's next weekend. It will still be from 8:00 o'clock next Saturday morning until noon in the parking lot in front of the DePaul Medical Building at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.

Earth Day

The rain has forced the annual Earth Day to move inside to the huge gym at the Patterson Community Center at 521 Mercury Boulevard. It still will be from 10:00 o'clock Saturday morning until 2:00 in the afternoon, but it won't be around the courthouse. Again--it's been moved inside to the Patterson Center. Yes, the 500 seedling Paw Paw trees will be given away. As you know, they attract butterflies--and these beautiful creatures are the theme of this year's Earth Day event.
