What Would an Artist Do: Focusing On What Matters To You Without Dropping Any Balls

Poet and ARTrepreneur Stephanie Pruitt aims to combine an artist's free-spirited nature with the business world - and that's exactly what she plans to do at RUTHERFORD Cable's upcoming breakfast meeting.

"We're talking resource management, delegation, and guilt-free decision making. ...but not in the conventional, self-help sort of way," Pruitt explained. "Let's look at these practical skills that can power our personal and professional lives through the lens of some of the most impractical, and often eccentric people we know: Artists. What can the artist's way show you about successfully minding the business of being you?"

Pruitt is slated to keynote RUTHERFORD Cable's monthly breakfast meeting from 7:15-9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at Stones River Country Club, located at 1830 N.W. Broad St. in Murfreesboro.

During her presentation, Pruitt will show attendees just how they can adopt an artist's mindset - and they won't have to get paint in their hair or write an epic poem in iambic pentameter.

RUTHERFORD Cable members and guests are welcome, and the public is invited to attend; the cost for this meeting is $20 and includes breakfast. Reservations are available online at rutherfordcable.org and must be completed by Wednesday, Nov. 2.
