Whitesell to Retire

The DNJ reports District Attorney General Bill Whitesell will not seek re-election. The 64-year old says he wants to enjoy some time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He's currently in the last year of an eight-year terms as the county's D-A. Whitesell was appointed by Governor Don Sundquist in 1995 to fill the seat of former District Attorney Guy Dotson.
