While many hit the stores to shop during the Black Friday weekend, some people took advantage of the crowds to steal merchandise. Altar’d State on Medical Center Parkway reported the theft of 14-pairs of jeans on Saturday. After three suspects left the store, they got into a car with a New York plate and fled the scene. The jeans were valued at over $1,400. To date, the culprits have not been caught.

At Victoria's Secret in the Avenue, someone stole 14 push-up bras totaling more than $500. Theft of course is nothing new at the Victoria's Secret Store. In the past year, around $10,000 worth of undergarments have been stolen from the Murfreesboro store. No one has been caught in that case either. 

Other theft reports during the busy shopping days following Thanksgiving included shoplifting, home burglaries and car break-ins.
