A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Rutherford County from 6pm Sunday until 12p Monday for the possibility of sleet, freezing rain and snow. 

Ice/sleet accumulations...one quarter to four tenths of an inch...and up to 2 inches of snow.

Hazardous driving conditions will be possible due to ice accumulations from freezing rain and sleet andsnow on top of that. Trees and power lines could experience ice accumulations...resulting in power outages.
