A Murfreesboro woman is accused of stealing nearly $3,000 worth of merchandise from the Walmart store on Old Fort Parkway. Amanda Bain allegedly walked out the front door of the store pushing not one shopping cart, but two. The carts contained $2,945 worth of clothing and general merchandise.

A police report stated, “She advised she went to grab her phone out of her car and was planning on returning back into the store with the carts to pay for the items.” When Officer Harvey searched the purse that Bain had with her, a small straw and Oxycodone pills were discovered. Officer Harvey wrote, “Mrs. Bain advised she used the straw to snort the pills.”
