Woman Allegedly Writes Bad Check for a BMW at Local Car Dealer

A 34-year old Murfreesboro woman has been accused of fraud after writing a bad check for a BMW. The car was sold to the individual by Nashville Motor Cars on NW Broad Street. According to a police report, the suspect wrote the car dealer a check for over $26,000.  When a representative from the dealer attempted to cash the check, it was returned for insufficient funds.

Murfreesboro Police are now investigating the matter. Authorities have the suspects address and drivers license number.
