A woman who had an outstanding warrant in Nashville was arrested at Motel 6 in Murfreesboro. Police responded to the Chaffin Place motel in reference to a "Breech of Trust" vehicle. Once on site, they came in contact with Amber Kay Brewer who was located in a nearby motel room.

In the room, officers noticed a small amount of weed sitting on a table. Police then asked 29 year old Brewer if she had any drugs in her possession after confirming she had an active warrant out of Davidson County for failing to appear in court. Brewer evidently told police that she had some hidden under her breast.

Police say Brewer retrieved a small container that had meth, Oxycodone and Klonopin inside of it. A nearby makeup bag contained a cut straw and two hypodermic needles.

Brewer was then taken into custody and charged with possession of a schedule two drug (two counts), possession of a schedule four drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and served a warrant out of Nashville.

The Murfreesboro woman will be in court on November 16, 2016. Brewer is behind bars for the time being at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.
