A 21-year old woman was brutally attacked during a robbery on Sunset Avenue in Murfreesboro on Monday. The victim was evidently moving her car from in front of a home when two masked men opened her car door and stuck a pistol in her face. The report shows the victim told officers, “Before they had time to say anything she instantly began to scream.” The reaction of the men was not to turn and run, it was instead to pull the female out of the vehicle and tell her to “SHUT UP.”

The victim’s instinct led her to continue to scream and she even kicked one of the two subjects while pulling the mask off his face. The report shows, “She advised the man then hit her over the head with the pistol then reached into her car and grabbed her cell phone out of the driver’s seat.” The subjects then took off running. The GPS device on the cellphone led police to a nearby gas station at the corner of West Clark Boulevard and Memorial where they found the phone in a trash can at a neighboring car wash.
