Woman Awoken by Being Hit With Baseball Bat

A 28-year old Murfreesboro woman reported to police on Sunday that she was beaten by a man and a woman in her home. The victim told officers that on October 18th she was awoken in her sleep by two persons whom she knew as Jay and Katherine. The man and the woman woke her by hitting her with a baseball bat and tazing her with a tazer. The victim reported that she heard the two comment to each other, “she is not breathing,” and then the man and the woman fled the home.

The victim then went to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries. The victim was released from Middle Tennessee Medical Center and then went to a friends house to stay the night.

At this point, police have not arrested the suspects, although they do have their first and last name on file.
