45-Minutes after school was over on Monday, a Murfreesboro woman was charged with DUI in a county school parking lot. School Resource Officer Carl Watkins told Murfreesboro authorities that 46-Year old Kelly Lynn Palmer pulled into the parking lot of Blackman Elementary School with her Hyundai that showed signs of front end damage, according to an incident report. After a series of failed field sobriety test, police tied her car to an accident in the area of Franklin Road at Rucker Lane. Because of the accusation of the wreck she was charged with not only DUI, but also leaving the scene of an accident. Luckily, no injuries were reported.

After being booked at the local jail, Palmer was released a little over two hours later after posting a $2,500 bond. She will appear in court in January.
