A 32-year old Ohio woman who, according to a police report, is a self-employed prostitute, has been arrested in Murfreesboro. Police made the arrest at a South Church Street hotel.

When officers went to the door of the room in question, the female opened the door and introduced herself as Isabel. It was later learned that her full name is Isabel Torres and her nickname is "Jada." Officer Carroll with the MPD immediately recognized her as a woman who was in an ad on BackPage.com when she opened the door.

The report stated, "She advised that she first started prostitution when a friend suggested it. They went to New York and started making a lot of money prostituting. Then they traveled prostituting through North and South Dakota. They then went to Texas as well as Florida, all while prostituting." The report also shows that she admitted to police that she advertised prostitution services on Backpage.com. The woman also advised that she is a prostitute "because it pays her so well."

Despite the money being good, records show that she was still behind bars and had not made bond as late as 10:00, Christmas Eve morning. Torres is charged with "Promoting Prostitution."
