Woman supposedly holds up K-mart in Smyrna at gunpoint

A gas station robbery is pretty common, but what about a robbery in a department store setting?

In Smyrna on Wednesday evening a woman armed with a gun entered K-mart demanding cash. The female got all the money she could and fled the store in a red Oldsmobile Alero that was waiting outside for her. The car had temp tags. Police chased the suspects all the way to the Davidson County line before the car got-away.

If you saw a car matching the description of the vehicle we described in the hold up, you are encouraged to call the Smyrna Police Department at 459-6644.
