A 34-year old Woodbury man is facing various drug charges after being arrested on North Academy Street.

Murfreesboro Police Officer Nathan Frost reports Robert Thomas Lawwell was arrested after making contact with the suspect on North Academy near Bell Street Friday afternoon. A check revealed active warrants. During a search of the suspect, a syringe loaded with heroin was reportedly found in his right pocket.

Lowwell will face the new charges in General Sessions Court on December 13th.
