World Peace Day and the Pinwheel Project at Bradley Academy in Murfreesboro

Bradley Academy school students in Murfreesboro are celebrating Peace Day Wednesday by placing pinwheels in the ground outside of the school.

The pinwheels will be on display in front of Bradley Academy in Murfreesboro next to Patterson Park throughout the week.

What is World Peace Day?

The International Day of Peace, sometimes unofficially known as World Peace Day, is observed annually on the 21st of September. It is dedicated to world peace, and specifically the absence of war and violence, such as might be occasioned by a temporary ceasefire in a combat zone for humanitarian aid access.
