Wrestling State Championships

Riverdale's Scottie Boykin is a state champion wrestler. He defeated Billy Raulston of Walker Valley in the 195 weight class to claim the school's first wrestling state title since 1973. Other area medalists:
Kyle Coder from Siegel finished fourth in the 145-pound class
Austin Wells from Blackman finished fourth in the heavyweight class
Josh Feuerbacher of Blackman finished fifth in the 138 class
Sean Kennedy of Riverdale placed fifth in the 170-pound class
